Wonderful Day In The Carpathian Mountains
I had an amazing day tour in the mountains with Active Travel. Great communication and a great guide on the ground, Charlie, who made sure we were taken care of and had lots of interesting information to share with us. Can't recommend this company highly enough!

A highlight of my trip!
The tour was amazing, and so was our guide Charlie. We got to Pelés castle nice and early so we beat all the crowds. Charlie even waited in line for us while we enjoyed a coffee and pastry at the cafe so we could be first in line. We stopped at a Romanian restaurant for lunch, food was great and inexpensive. Bran castle was also very cool and Charlie gave us information in every room. The fortress was closed but we were able to walk around to get a nice view point over the city. On the way back to Brasov we also stopped at another view point over Brasov to take some photos. Overall the day was great, perfect itinerary, great timing at each place (we didn’t feel rushed at all), and the small group size was a plus. And most importantly the guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about each location and all the places we drove through and gave us lots of recommendations and answered any questions we had. 10/10 would recommend! A highlight of my trip!

Incredible experience *****
We were fortunate to have T.B. as our driver and tour guide for the day, and the experience exceeded our expectations. T.B. was not only extremely knowledgeable about the local history but also highly professional in every aspect of the tour. From the outset, the communication from both T.B. and Active Travel was excellent. They were very organised, confirming the agreed-upon pick-up and drop-off points well in advance. At the end of the day, they actively sought feedback, which demonstrated their commitment to providing a top-notch experience.
